The Central Goldfields District badge was originally designed in 1984 by local Trefoil member, Marion Porteous.
The badge depicts:
- Maryborough’s notable Bristol Hill tower – the old fire spotting location
- wattle – the prominent floral emblem for Maryborough, Victoria.
It was redesigned when Maryborough District became Central Goldfields District.
