We need to be careful not to give away too much information, as the concept behind this range of adventures is that the finer details, including exact locations, are revealed only while the activity is in progress.
What we can say is ….
This adventure had us weaving our way through the streets of Prahran and St Kilda. We had arrived in Melbourne via train, so we were entirely reliant on public transport and walking. That was perfect for this adventure, and was part of the experience for us, rather than a limitation.
We were emailed the address of the starting point and there received a beverage to start the activity. Each new destination was revealed by solving clues and riddles through a smartphone app. Food items were collected along the way, so that by the time we reached the final location, our picnic lunch was ready to be assembled.
A rookie mistake on our part: travelling by public transport, we had sensibly packed plastic utensils and cutlery. That had seemed a logical choice, but was not too practical when it came to preparing the food.
We passed through a mix of well-known landmarks and some quirky community spaces. Can’t say too much more – this is an adventure best discovered for yourself.
Advice for Others
- Pack useful utensils for cutting and buttering
- Take a small cooler bag
- Wear sensible walking shoes (one section was quite a bit of walking)
