Ingredients

2 tablespoons Nutella (about 35 g)
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon neutral oil (canola, sunflower etc)
½ teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)
3 tablespoons self-raising flour
Pinch of salt

Nutella Brown Cake

Instructions

  1. Place a microwave-safe mug on the kitchen scales and set to zero. Measure Nutella directly into the mug.
  2. Add milk, oil, and vanilla and mix until smooth.
  3. Add flour and salt. Stir until no lumps remain.
  4. Microwave on high for about 70 seconds (time will vary between microwaves).
  5. Let sit for 1–2 minutes to firm up.
  6. Eat straight from the mug or divide in half to share with a friend.
